Because Animals Can’t Shoot Back

poaching is the number one reason why an animal species faces the risk of extinction.

The mission of ELEPA® is to assist those organizations that help expose and ultimately, eliminate illegal hunting and poaching of endangered animals all over the world. We hope you will join us in the fight.

this is what it has come to…

It takes drastic actions to combat drastic deeds. The following short film shows what it has come to, to try and curb poaching in Africa. While on assignment for Empowers Africa, the film team documented the “dehorning” of a rhino in the wild. Incredibly, dehorning has become one of the top deterrents in the fight to save every single rhino possible. Actually removing the rhino’s horns makes the animal worthless to poachers, who are still incredibly active in the Kwazulu-Natal area.
This film showcases the extreme reality of poaching.

ready to take the next step?

There are THREE ways that you can help and get involved:

1. PURCHASE official ELEPA® merchandise from the Elepa Store! All proceeds go to support our mission.

2. DONATE. If you don’t need any new gear, you can make a one-time donation, or sign up for monthly contributions. Certain levels will receive a special thank you gift from Elepa directly.

3. SHARE THE LOVE. Share Elepa’s website and mission on your social media platforms. Tell your friends, your family. Knowledge is power, and the more we have in the fight, the more animals will be saved every day.

the story behind the mission

Listen to the CEO herself, Isis Langer-Wright as she explains where the concept of ELEPA came from, and some of the ideas we had for the merchandise.
Special thanks to Bill Parmentier who produced, filmed and edited the above video,
and Yemi Sekoni of Donahue Models, who got it all arranged for us.
Thank you both!

Changing the world is possible. but we can’t do it alone.

We need help…real change is hard.

There are amazing organizations across the globe that exist to put an end to the awful practice of illegal poaching. Specifically, The International Anti-Poaching Foundation; The World Wildlife Fund; The Wildlife Conservation Society, to name just a trio.

And ELEPA® (pronounced El-uh-pah) was formed, to not only offer financial assistance to these wonderful non-profits, but to help raise awareness so their support can grow.

All proceeds from merchandise purchases and donations through Elepa®, will be distributed among the Top 5 Anti-Poaching organizations in the world. Strategically and efficiently, with Elepa closely involved with where the money is going, ensuring it is being used for specific initiatives that we here at Elepa feel will have the most impact.

“Animals are more than ever a test of our character, of mankind's capacity for empathy and for decent, honorable conduct and faithful stewardship. We are called to treat them with kindness, not because they have rights or power or some claim to equality, but in a sense because they don't; because they all stand unequal and powerless before us.”
